# Incredibly Loud mobo Fan

I’ve got this (old) Abit mobo.

The fan (blue) on the board (not cpu fan) is insanely loud. I mean to the point where I need to power down the system so I can go to bed loud.

If I stop that one fan for a second the thing is completely quiet.

Is there any safe way to perhaps grease it up to quit it down? I cant remove it, the ■■■■ thing is soldered to the board.

Dust is not the issue. I’ve gone through the entire thing.
