# Indie?

Are my thoughts on Indie music correct. Is it a band, musician, artist on an independent music label. Can I get some examples. For a while I thought it was a style of music. A girl I went on a date with last night says that is all she really listens to.

Some of the bands were My Chemical Romance and Elliott Smith.
