# Infinite menu - Cannot hit buttons

Hi guys, I’m looking for a little help on using buttons in infinite menus. I built the menu just fine, it scrolls dandy - however, the problem is that since the menu is a movie clip, and any button that would scroll with it would have to be inside the clip. So whenever I try linking the button-within-the-clip to another frame or scene, Flash looks for a frame/scene inside the clip, and not out on the main timeline and the button just sits there, useless. I can’t put the image inside the clip either, because it’s a still image and I don’t want it to start scrolling… Any help in regards to how I can work around this linking problem would be great. Thanks in advance!

PS. I’m using Flash MX (not 2004) if that’s any help. 🙂
