# Infinite menu - scroll text defined in a variable instead?

At the link below is the infinite menu tutorial – which is fairly straightforward. However, I wonder if it would be possible to have the text, which is in the menu, contained in a variable instead, so then that text would scroll. If it is possible, how would I go about doing this?
