# Infinium Labs Phantom console redesigned, spec'd

a bit of a different look. Much sleeker and I think more in mind for the casual entertainment system as opposed to the hardcore gamer. There will be the option to pay for 2 years of service to replace the $199 for the hardware purchase as well.

Specs include AMD Athlon XP 2500+ central processing unit, Nvidia GeForce FX 5700 Ultra, etc. with a hard drive like the XBox 1.

Infinium Labs also hired Andrew “Bunnie” Huang, the MIT grad student who wrote _Hacking the Xbox_.
