Gah, I suggested this once before, but I’m gonna suggest it again, since it’s a good idea (and I know it).

We should have some way to indicate inline code samples… I use [font=monospace]code[/font] a lot, but this is not clear enough when reading it.

I think it should be something along the lines of…

```auto
<span style="background: #eee; border: 1px solid #999; color: #333; font-family: monospace; margin: -1px;">code</span>

```

Just a rough estimate, but you get the point. It would indicate that this is the exact source, not just regular text.
