# Input field :: Date to Unix Timestamp

I was wondering if anyone knew the code to put with an input text field, that would either take a normal date (MM/DD/YYY) and turn it into a Unix Timestamp before it is sent to the Mysql Database?

Also, is there a pop up calendar that has the ability to do this?
