Why is it that, and how can I prevent it, when by assigning a Variable name to a text object [Input Field], a trace of that corresponding variable spits out html including all formatting of the field??

This is especially frustrating b/c I followed the kirupa tutorial on creating an [HTTP-POST form in Flash](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/actionscript/flash_php_email.htm) to learn the ropes.

Somewhere I read to use strip\_html() in the receiving php script, but that’s not the way I want to do it… I think there’s got to be a setting or parameter somewhere that’s eluding me.

Flash8, published to flash player 7,8, or 9.
thanks
