Hello all, Seems I have a problem, although a valuable learning experience. When I load an external swf (form) the input fields and the text on the push button (send comments) are not visible. When I preview the file its all there, but when I load it into the main, it is not. I thought it might be the \_root problem again, but I changed those to this. Been throughout the forum looking for something similar, which I found, but there was no answer to their question (“content not showing up”). Would really appreciate some help. I can email the fla to anyone who can help, since the file size it too large to post. Best Regards, Brian ---

You have to embed any needed components in the mother SWF. ---

why would I have to embed them into the mother swf, since they are in the library of the daughter swf? I have a border enabled on the input text field but they don’t show up when loaded into the mother, they wouldn’t have to be embedded into the mother because they are not symbols, completely confused. This is conjunction with an asp script too. Best Regards, Brian ---

The ASP has nothing to do with it, trust me, just try exporting them in the first frame of the mother clip ---

Do you mean bring them into the library of the mother or do I put them physically into the first frame of the mother clip, off of the stage or on the stage? Does this include the input text fields?Please bear with me. Best Regards, Brian ---

open you components in the mother clip, drag one of everything you have used to the stage then delete them. They right click on them in the library and choose linkage, check the box that says “export for Actionscript”. Then your in business ---
