# Inserting database records with asp

Hi everyone,

I did this tutorial:  
[http://www.kirupa.com/developer/actionscript/forms\_database.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/actionscript/forms_database.htm)  
but the recorsds in the database don’t seem to update. The asp code for the insert record part seems a bit too simple, so I’m wondering if it is even meant to work.

If anyone can help it would be great, it looks like a simple problem.
