Does anyone here know how to Install Never Winter Nights Platinum Edition on Linux (specificly Ubuntu 5.10)? I have tried the method provided by Bioware (NWN’s makers) but it doesn’t work :td: Any help/links to help would be appreciated. Also, i’m new to Linux! So make sure its linux noob friendly! =) ~KoN~ ---

I don’t know. But I hear the game rocks. BTW, doesn’t it make you mad that theres a lot of programs you have to go out of you way to, or can’t install on Linux. i think someone needs to start a penguin revolution…😉 ---

It is a good game, it has a thriveing multiplayer community which has kept it alive and it still gets updates from Bioware! I’m hopeing devlopers will start to take Linux into account and provide options for those with the OS. Start the revolution Blazes! 😃 Maxtr0sity, i do currently play it on windows, but why would i want to keep supporting microsoft? ~KoN~ ---

I don’t think you’re directly supporting Microsoft by playing a game on it, you’re only using the best avaliable platform to play it on, why waste your time to port it to something else it wasn’t designed to? Just seems like a waste of time to me. ---

So basicly i need an alternate install guide, i have heard there are some, but my few google searches have returned naught (well, nothing helpfull).
