# Installing drivers on unidentified sound/networkcard on a laptop?

My sisters laptop recently broke down and so she asked me to fix it for her. She didn’t have the original install CDs/DVDs so I installed windows XP from an old copy I had lying around.

The problem is is that I can’t get the soundcard or network card going. I can’t even identify them, it just says “Netword card unit” with a question mark as a logo.

Anyone got any clue as to how I could get them working?
