# Interactive scrolling background

HI
Ive got a Movieclip that contains a very wide image which i want use as a background for a site im designing. the movieclip/image will be centered on the stage but will overlap on the left and the right and therefore be partly invisible on both sides.
What i want to do is allow this image/movieclip to scroll /move left or right when i click the respective sides of it in the browser or if its easier just rollover the left or right of the movieclip/image.
does anyone know what i have to do to achieve this.
a similar thing can be found at [www.aqualung.net](http://www.aqualung.net) - actually its exactly what i want to do
any help greatly appreciated

I think easing is what you want:

lostinbeta seems to be the guru of easing in this forum… I would try one of the tuts above, then post any questions you may have.
