# Internet Corporation Listing Service - scam?

Have any of you heard or are a part of this “service”? I recently received a bill for a year’s service from them. They basically put your website through several search engines. Problem here is, I went to their site and it does not seem the least bit legit. First off, I wouldn’t sign-up for something like this, unless I was signed up by a third party, and second, if that were the case, why wasn’t I given an agreement?

I went to their website ([www.icls.net](http://www.icls.net)) and noticed that their main office is listed as a P.O. box in the Bahamas. I think I may have been a victim of a scam here, and if so I’ll be sure to kick myself for this for the next month and a half.

So, any input on this situation?
