# Iphone app programming on a PC?

i know; to make iphone apps you need a mac (or a hackintosh), but i’m broke, and if i can show that I can pick up iphone programming i might be able to get a job.

I’ve heard the iphone SDK runs on obj C, which is based on C… so right now I’m looking into downloading a good C compiler and playing around with it. I know a little c++, so I’m wondering… if I code a basic app in C which runs on my pc, would it take much to tweaking get it working on the iphone? I know thats a really vague question, since the answer depends on the kind of app… maybe something simple like making a square move around the screen- would it require much to translate that from an app that runs on a desktop PC to an iphone?

Any replies would be appreciated, thanks!
