# iPod locked in iTunes

I got an iPod at Christmas and it’s been fine, but in the past week or so in iTunes all the songs in the iPod window are greyed out and unselectable, there’s also a symbol similar to the hold symbol that you see on the iPod itself. Since it’s been like this I can’t play the iPod songs in iTunes, drag + drop more songs in or select them. I’ve tried reinstalling iTunes + iPod Updater and even restoring my iPod but it hasn’t seemed to have worked at all.
