# Isometric mapmaker - Want open source?

I have stopped doing serious programming in flash for quite some time, but I have a isometric map maker that can save maps/ load maps/ load tiles etc. It is programmed in AS2.0, I have yet got the time to learn 3.0. I am thinking of making it open source if people are interested in helping to develop it into something more useful, such as adding pathfinding, moving units into the mapmaker. Possibly making it intom something like CIVILISATION.

Everything is done by me: the pixel art and programming

The saving functions is removed for now but here are some commands you can try out.

**To scroll the map:**  
hold down CTRL and move the mouse

**To raise or lower a tile:**  
select it and click on the up/down arrows

**To load a map, type these:**  
/l main.pwn  
/l yyy.pwn

**To load a texture onto a tile, click on one(when its selected, it is alpha=50) then type one of these:**  
/t trees\_1.swf  
/t market\_1.swf  
/t home-1.swf  
/t green\_tile.swf  
/t lake\_1.swf  
/t hse\_1.swf
