# Issue with publish settings

okay – i am working on a web site that is published with flash player 6 – and when i change it to flash player 8 i get a compiler error.

```auto
Symbol=sound_control, layer=vol, frame=1, Line 2	')' expected setProperty((("_parent.thumbs.marko" add ..:botonactivo) add ".slider"), _xscale, (100 + slidin._x));
Symbol=sound_control, layer=vol, frame=1, Line 3	Unexpected'}' encountered }

i was wondering if anyone can tell a way around this. or what this is for.

the problem with this error is that my buttons will no longer work for my menu-  
and i am not sure why since the error is located in the music player.

if you need more info let me know – but if anyone can explain this to me and how to fix it that would be most awsome.
