today the wierdest thing of my life happened. in computer engineering class i was sitting on a computer and ahmed was sitting beside me. his computer had a bois password so he couldn’t open it. our teacher told us to turn our monitors off and listen to him so we both did that. then suddenly the word elvis poped in my head and i wrote it as if was the password and it was right. i couldn’t believe my eyes and ahmed was so shocked. OMG it was really funny and embarising for out peer tutor. cuz he told us it does not work hehehehehe i think i am psyco ---

The easiest way to get past a bios password is to pull the jumper off the main board labled “password” ---

When you open up the machine, on the motherboard there are all kinds of little black jumpers that cover 1 or 2 pin connections on the board Similar to the jumper on the back of a hard drive that designates it as a slave or master drive. One of them is labeled as “password” or “pass” Remove the pin and it will clear the the bios password from ROM They made it manditory on 386+ macines because people would create a pasword and the techs would have to fry the internal battery to clear it. ---
