# iTunes help

So I recently had to do an emergency restore on my desktop, which means I lost my iTunes library (2,000+ songs). I’m been trying to sift through Apple’s support page and can’t seem to find anything about how to hook-up your iPod without it automatically retooling your library. Anybody have any suggestions? I would hate to spend a week going through my iPod and getting those songs all over again.
