I got my iPod video today(yay!) So I thought I’d start to use iTunes in order to sync my library and stuff. But iTunes takes up about 10-20% CPU=( and spikes at 70-80% CPU every 10 sec or so. It also causes my mouse to lag about 1 time each second. Which is really really annoying.

Anyone know a fix for this?

ps, I’m on a windows XP PC.

edit: Tested some few things and I’ve found that it does not lag nor use any CPU when I leave it completely idle. It’ll start acting up as soon as I play a song, connect the iPod or anything for that matter.
