# Java Applet in FlashMX

no, running java requires the java runtime environment either through a standalone or through a browser pluggin. Flash itself runs through a broswer pluggin (online) or its own standalone.

Flash can interact with a Java based/Jrun server, but including an applet within a flash movie really isnt possible. You can have both a java applet and a flash movie running in the same browser window though assuming both are embedded in the html.
