Hi everyone!

I’m relatively new to Flash and this is my very first post – I hope everything goes well! 🙂

I’m trying to do a Javascript hover from Flash. Essentially, I want to roll over a button and have a line of type (loaded from an external text file into Flash) appear over the button, outside of Flash, on top of the SWF. So, yes, I’m going from a txt file into Flash and then back out of Flash again.

I can’t, for several reasons, do this with a button or any other Flash object – it must be done on top of the SWF file, and I’m pretty sure that Javascript is the way to get this done.

Can anyone help me? I think I’m looking for a piece of Javascript that runs in the GetURL and reads the content from an external source, which I’ve pulled in under the name Work1.

Thank you! I hope for the very best…

Chris
