more confidence.
happiness comes not from having lots of things, but overcoming barriers and achieving things yourself. if i had more confidence, i’d tackle bigger things, and achieve them and be happier.

I would wish to travel 100 years into the future for a week
Then when I retured, I would create every little gizmo from infomercials I saw and get rich.
Then I would bet on the superbowls from years past and other sporting events. and get richer.
Then I would find out the formula for all seriums that cured diseases that have plagued the previous century. Recreate them, sell to our government, get even richer than that.
I would be rich, all knowing, have non-refundable ticket into heaven (just in case it exists) for all the lives Ive saved
and also put a litle work into my wish
Or I could ask for

In used twenties (then a five a quarter, one nickel, and four pennies.
and save myself all the hard work

I wish i could be the best programer in the world and know every program in and out etc. and when i write programs it’d work on the first run without any bugs.
ah yes… how my life would be so much better =) hehe
no i’d probably wish for other magic lamps so i could have multiple wishes and turn greedy like any normal human would =) lol jk

I have a question about the wish though. Is it really coming from a Djinn? We know what sorts of things happen when you make wishes from a Djinn bottle… Crap happens.
Now if you’re asking the question: Given one wish, of any magnatude, without strings\*, what would you wish for.
\*strings refers to any malformation of the wish due to a trickery of words or intentions or thoughts.
In that case, even your wish could backfire on you phil, but certainly it limits what can be done maliciously to you by your wish benefactor. (I imagine Phil asking for his wish, the Djinn pulls out a knife and guts him.:P)
dave :if I had knowledge that the wish adhired to the preceeding, I would probebly wish for something very selfish. Perhaps, the ability to teleport anywhere I can concieve of in any detail, taking with me as much material or life forms as I wish.
planetary travel would be very excellent.
second choice would probebly be to kill off 50% of the worlds population dependent upon my whim.
so hey… pray that I never get a wish. I’d be a viscious bastard with it.

I would have a few wishes that I need to sort thru. Although Daves wish about wiping the planet sounds pretty good. Has anyone ever read “Rainbow 6” by Tom Clancy? Thats what a group of terrorists actually tried to do in that book, with a virus… anywho… my wish would probly be something simple. I don’t think I would wish for money.
I would wish for patience. I must admit that most of my short-comings as a person and as a student come from my lack of patience. If I were a more patient person I would be able to learn these crazy computer languages easier, and I would not get as frustrated as easily as I do now.

If it really happened I would of course say “I wish I could grant my own wishes after I say the words ‘knights of knee’”. That keeps me from accidentaly saying something like I wish you’d just shut up, and the person being mute, plus i get infinite wishes.
If of course I could not do that, then I would wish to be able to know the future consequences and benefits from all of my current decisions. That would allow you to know if your current decisions are positive and you won’t die, so you can live on the edge and drive 90000 mph, but not be in any chance of dying if you know you won’t. You could also know what to say to get people to bend to your will and could get millions off the stock market.

I am going to change my wish,
Time travel again, but this time I would decompile flash MX, and release it in 1997 as my own product.
The tricky part would be getting half the machines to be able to run it.
