I’m looking at doing a small test of animating my game (already running, non-animated), see attached image for an idea.

Basically really simple at first… to see if the players like where it’s going.

It’d be something like: Moving water on the bottom, palm trees swaying, birds moving, fishing pole rocking slightly, then casting the lure into the water, splash… then a popup box, with what fish you caught… or if you caught nothing.

The main thing is:
-I’d need it to be coded very well, and in a clean framework.
-There are many different poles, islands, boats, baits, etc… all of which are in the DB… hence the need for a framework / ORM.
-I’m not looking for someone with a “design” background, this is all pretty much technical…

It’d need to handle MANY db connections, and I could probably help integrating memcache stuff.

Ideal candidate would be someone from the US, younger, motivated… like me. Should be a fun project to work on.

Anyways, if you’re interested feel free to contact me, and we can discuss this privately.
