# Joomla CSS confusion

I’m new to creating my own Joomla templates, and I’m having a hard time deciphering where my modules are pulling their CSS from, even using Firebug.

I have a menu that I just created at the top, and the links are all bunched up together. I tried using word-spacing: in the div I put the module in, but nothing happens. Yet when I used text-align: center it worked. Can anyone take a look at the CSS and tell me what I’m dong wrong?
