# Jpeg quality on animation

Hi, everyone.

This is driving me mad, so I hope somebody understand this better than me.

I have a movieclip (which contains a jpg that’s twice as wide as the stage) that I’m moving across the stage (x-direction, with easeout) based on the viewer’s mouse position. When I export the .swf from inside Flash, everything is great and smooth. However, as soon as I publish it into an html document, the .jpg starts to flicker on movement.

I’ve checked “allow smoothing” on the image that is inside the movieclip. I have also played around with the publish settings, but nothing seems to help.
