# Jump to different MC frame 2

On the main stage there is a MC on frame 4.

I have a drop down menu button that I want to jump me to frame 2 of that MC

I tried this:

button.onRelease = function () {  
\_root.instance\_of\_mc.gotoAndStop(2);  
}

but it didn’t work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
