# Jump to frames

Have built my previous work using scenes and it’s a cinch to navigate to a scene using buttons. Taking advice from a few folks I’m building something using frames. Problem is when I add an action to a button telling it to go to and play a particular frame it simply plays the whole movie until it reaches the required frame. How do I tell a button to take me to a specific frame withpout playing through the whole thing
