# Just wondering: Open Office and Export to PDF

I use OpenOffice only to save my word files into PDF. I am wondering, though, why is it that OpenOffice comes with a nice, free Text -\> PDF converter, while I can’t seem to find any free Text -\> PDF converters that aren’t part of a larger office-like package?

Most of the small 200k-300k sized programs are shareware. Is there a free PDF converter that I have overlooked?
