Hey Kirupa and other mods, Keep your eye on Rynoe. He is quite the annoying member. I have scolded him a few times and being incredibly sarcastic and rude with members asking for help. He is from the flashkit forum and so it is self explanitory that he feels he needs to be rude. He gives bad publicity to new members who sign up looking for help and he replies with some smart @$$ comment. I am just saying keep an eye on him because he already worked his way onto my “Wanna Ban” list. I nickname him “The Forum Instigator” What do you guys think about this situation? [edit] Beware, he is a suck up as well. I have gotten into arguments with him and he deletes all his posts and sends me an e-mail saying he is so sorry and blah blah [/edit] ---

He does know his stuff and he can be awfully helpful. Maybe he has the same problems as us. I think we should just leave him be for now. It could be worse. He could have started a flame war w/ Dan… Accept his apology. (then track his IP, find his house, tie him to his bed, and beat him with a bball bat) ---

He doesn’t know his stuff! He knows a few things, but he has yet to prove to me he knows his stuff. I checked out his site, his stuff is horrible. A few good things here and there, but nothing that hard. The “Optimisation” thread was not the first argument I had with him. This is probably the 4th or 5th where he has been unneccarily rude to a member. One of those posts which were deleted he was telling something “Maybe your employers should actually hire someone who knows what they are doing and stop wasting their money on you” (not exact words, but that is a paraphrase of the words used, not just a mis interpretation, he made it clear he was saying that and used words like those). ---

Yeah, that is what this thread is for. I want the mods and such to keep an eye out on this guy. If they see him starting something, maybe post it here. The only way I can think of to keep proof of what he says (because he deletes his posts) is to quote his replies when/if you reply back. \<-- I already had enough… But maybe you guys can see what I see from him. ---

Well if I get tired enough of it… I can go into Dan mode myself. He has no right to be rude to new members. It gives kirupa forum a bad name if that person goes somewhere else instead and spreads about the a ssholes here. Like Flashkit… everyone that has been there says it is full of a ssholes, so we here know not to go there. But if that gets spread about here and it isn’t true, that isn’t good. ---

btw lost, I checked out his site… awful stuff… the only “good” thing, is that “experiment” he uses in his sig… and that IS neat… nut even I could do all the other stuff… :-\ I’ll keep a lookout, but let’s wait 'till he crossed that thin line :bad: ---

So the deal is, that he starts an argument, then clears the evidence by deleting his posts and then he sends apology emails?? ---

Usually. If it isn’t an apology in the e-mail it is a suck up. I got another e-mail from him that said something like “Nice to meet you kiddo, you are half my age with twice the knowledge. Hope I didn’t offend you.” in the last argument we had. ---
