# Keeping audio settings using shared object

I am creating a flash file which creates background music for the clients web site. When the user turns off the sound, I would like it to stay off while the users are surfing around the site, and when they return to the site. I take it using shared objects are the way to go. How would I set that up, so when the user clicks on or off, that information is stored?
