# Keeping content centred

howcan i make my websites content centred on the page, no matter what screen size the visitor has? i want it so that if the visitor is using a wider screen than i am, the content will stay the same size, and stay centred on the screen, and just the background colour either side.

Is this done by using layers on so many %?
