# Keeping HTML when republishing

I have a flash site that I am constantly updating. When I update it, and republish it, all of the HTML that I have added such as the Meta Tags are written over with a new Flash(HTML) document. How can I keep this code and still update my site?

Should I just have an HTML frame that references the SWF movie? This way I just publish the SWF and not the HTML.

A little help. Thanks
