# Keeping image quality up

ok im having some problems with keeping the quality up on my photoshop created navigation bar and buttons. when i export the finalized swf at max jpg quality i get messed up edges. can someone tell me some methods of keeping the quality up. The text on the buttons i created in photoshop is really blurry as well. is there any way around this?
