# Keeping text editable when going from Illustrator to Flash

I haven’t moved a lot of artwork over to Flash from Illustrator, but on the few occassions when I have, I noticed that the text was converted to shapes and I could no longer edit it once I got it into Flash. Is this typical or could I be doing something wrong?
