# Keyboard shortcut for maxing the window

Is there a keyboard shortcut for maximizing the window in Photoshop? Or is there a default setting somewhere that I can set? Seems like if I maximize a window, grab part of it with the marquee tool, copy and do Ctrl+N for a new window it automatically opens that new window in a non-maximized state and it’s really irritating to stop my workflow and use the mouse.
