Anyone _ **TRIED** _ playing this game on PC?
I bought it for 10$ (canadian) and thought I’d be in for a winback-style game, and hey, it’s just double the price of a two-day rental at blockbuster’s around here. So why not, I purchased it.
Whaddaya know, once I start it my graphics are two horizontal, blurred stripes of hell (and beyond). I go on the game’s forums, and everyone who plays it on console says it rocks. (And all the good reviews you see on the flash ad to the right are reviews of the console versions mind you!) Everyone who plays it on PC finds it has an infinite number of glitches, bugs and incompatibilities. Then there’s the war of those who say “don’t buy this game” and “developers don’t answer my emails” and “namco sucks” and so on, and those who’re opposed “what are you talking about? My xbox rules!” (and these console guys answering don’t seem to get it that _it’s the PC version which sucks_…)
On the forums I’ve seen ONE partial solution: run the game on “_windowed mode_”. It “works”: now I can actually go up until the training mission, but the huge problem is the “_retarded controls_”. As you all know, (or will if you buy/hack/warez/whatever the game, not that I’m publically encouraging those things–especially for this game, hah!) it suffers from extreme mouse-lag and keyboard-lag: the game reacts like 5 to 20 seconds after you pressed keys or moved your mouse, which makes it extremely HARD to coordinate movements. It took me litterally more than 60 seconds to hit a stationary target, not farther than 20 in-game meters in front of me (because I had to realize there was mouse lag, so I moved little pixels by little pixels until i got my crosshairs right).
AND, I got the same mouselag (but not keyboard lag) problems in **I’m going in 2 demo**.
All this to say, if anyone’s got a \*\*solution to my video problem \*\*(running the game in the non-windowed option), _please post it here_. If anyone’s been able to **DOWNLOAD or at least FIND a patch** which fixes the engine, _please post it here_. If anyone wants to rant about this game, you’re more than welcome, _please post it here!_

I have it for my Xbox and think it’s a pretty cool little game. It can be frustrating sometimes but still it’s got good visuals, the controls are really responsive and there’s lots of violence.
What else could a male 18-35 want? (other than nudity?)
