# Kirupa.net?

Does anyone have any idea why on earth a ‘Worldwide exporter of granite’ would choose [Kirupa.net](http://Kirupa.net) as their domain ? 😛

Notice the subtle similarities - for example the uber-obvious large pixel font on the image. Now compare that font to the font on [Kirupa.com](http://Kirupa.com). The layout is somehow similar as well … compare the page to for example the [tutorial page index](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/). It kinda seems as if they put about all layout elements from [Kirupa.com](http://Kirupa.com) on their page - for example the image on top, the index on the left …

Admittedly, it might be a bit far fetched. I wonder if they being located in Salem (place Kirupa was born) has anything to do with it …
