# Kirupa photo gallery

everytime i try to create the kirupa photo gallery from the mx tutorials i can only view the first image. when i press the back or next button i see nothing until i make enough clicks to get back to the first image. is this a common problem? does anyone have any suggestions?

The only images that can be loaded into flash dynamically like that are Non-Progressive .jpg images. The images that aren’t loading must not be .jpg and if they are .jpg they must not be saved as non-progressive (usually an option in any graphics program when saving as a .jpg image)
Otherwise you didn’t put the right file names in the array.

of course, you were correct - the images i couldn’t view were progressive .jpg images - simple solution.
