# Kirupa Sockets Tutorial - Please Help

I have followed the tutorial on PHP/Flash sockets tutorial ([http://www.kirupa.com/developer/flash8/php5sockets\_flash8\_5.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/flash8/php5sockets_flash8_5.htm)) and think I have a fair grasp of generally what is going on. The only part that makes me come unstuck is the batch file.

My hosting is provided on a Linux system and I do not have command line access. How can I execute the socketShell script on that server so that I may communicate with it.

Any help would be most appreciated.
