# Kirupa: Thread issue!?

When i click the link in phils “phooter issue” post, i get to a thread with 5 or 6 (maybe 7 by the time you read this) pages;
when i click the thread in Random, i see 3 pages!?

That value of perpage is set depending on your options. So when a link is posted, the perpage value will be that of the person who copied and pasted it.
