I have been searching an answer for the last 3 days. I have been to 3 other forums and looked through Macromedia’s site also. Teh question: I am using Kirupa’s slideshow and I am constantly adding more photos to the gallery. What I am struggling with is the fact that the slideshow must run smoothly… I.E., there should be no VISIBLE refresh of the SWF file. In Kirupa’s slideshow you add the images to the image folder, update the XML file and open the SWF file and voilá, the counter is updated, the slideshow adds the extra pictures and everything is OK. What I want to do is to add pictures and not have to close and re-open the SWF file. The ONLY answer to this problem would be to create a button that re-freshes the slideshow and re-starting the slides from the picture it left prior to hitting the refresh button). I was thinking of an invisible button. My probem is that I am not a black belt in actionscript and I can’t figure out how to create the code to re-start the show at hte last seen photo. Does all of this make sense, is it possible? Or shoudl I be looking at a third party software? The basic idea is pretty simple (be able to dump a bunch of pictures that will play in sequential order without disrupting the slideshow). Any help would be appreciated. I have looked and have not found anything. JH
