I’ve been working on a site for the kids and they want a flying kite on there page.
Being a good dad … i sad … sure … i can do that.
I created the movie, created a kite movie clip and running the clip through a guide.

I thought it looked pretty good, yet the kids (twins 4y old!) both mentioned that the kite was always flying the same patern. OMG.

So I figured I’ll do a litle actionscript that will random move the kite.
What in the world did I get myself into?! I can create the random kite alright, but having the “string/wire” stay on seems impossible to me.

Does anyone … anyone have an example? I looked all over the net and was unable to get anything it seems. (I might be looking at the wrong places, but what’s new)

I really appriciate your help on this project.

PS:
I only have time to look at this forum later in the evenings, so don’t think I’m ignoring your comments/code/examples.
