# LAPTOP - Buy or not?

Okay, so I’m thinking about buying a laptop. Currently, I have a regular computer with the following specifications:

- Intel Pentium III 1.0 gigaherz
- 128 mb RAM
- GeForce 2 Pro (32mb)
- 40 GB Hard Disk
- …

The Laptop I have my eye on has:

- Intel Pentium 4 3.06 gigaherz
- 512 mb RAM
- nVidia GeForceFX Go 5350 64MB DDR RAM
- 60 GB Hard Disk
- … (Firewire, Remote Control ( :h: ), DVD-CD-writer, etcetc…)

And the price is € 1549, which is (I converted it using the current currency (1 euro = 1.2530 dollar) 1940 dollar.

I guess it’s cheap, but I don’t really know. Is this a good computer or not? Also, all the games I currently play (such as UT2k3 as an example) have to be run at 800x600 to run smoothly, and it takes a hella time to load the levels. Will this all improve with the laptop, or won’t it? I mean, of course it will, but will it be significant? Or should I wait untill they sell a laptop with a graphics card of 128mb? Or will that take a long time?

I’d just like some opinions on this.
