I have a toshiba laptop thats “fairly” new… 5 months old but what I realize is that when I use full cpu power or even a little bit less 2.4 ghz - 3.06 ghz, after a while the laptop automatically shuts down. It runs perfectly fine on the lowest CPU level available @ 1.8 Ghz. Just wondering if this is a common occurence with laptop or should I reallly bring it in for repairs.

My assumption is that when it gets fairly hot, it has a mechanism that shuts off the cpu and closes the computer. :hr:
