# Layer problem...I think

Hello again,
I have a logo for a webpage I’m doing. I want to duplicate a MC over and over behind the logo. All this is done, except the MC are showing up in front of the logo, even though the layer with the MC is underneath the logo. Does duplicateMovieClip always put the new ones on top? And is there a way to change this?

your duplicated MC takes place at higher **level** … it is nothing to do with layer placement… level is different from layer…
make your star into another movieClip and duplicate it from there…
