# LCD Monitor error: Not Optimum Resolution

I’m having a weird problem - my monitor powers on fine, but it doesn’t accept the signal from the computer saying that it is “not optimum resolution”.

this happens right from when I power on the pc, even before it gets to loading windows.

anyone got any ideas?
