# LCD monitors?

i have a powerbook, and an older g4 tower. i like to use the two together, and currently use a mac tube monitor. however with my new apartment, that giant tube monitor is just too big to really have around. so i am looking for a flat screen model. and where i would love to buy an apple studio display, i simply can’t afford it. anyone know of some good and affordable flatscreens? good for color work? the market seems overwhelming as far as what’s available.
