# Learning Movie Clips

Ok, so I’ve mastered the fade in/fade out of graphics on the timeline. Time to move on. =) I’m confused about movie clips. I have 7 clips and each of them take up 35 frames. On my main timeline I put each movie clip in its own layer right on top of each other and… it didn’t work. It only worked when I put 35 frames between each movie clip. Is that right? Is that what I’m supposed to do? I’ve attached a jpg of what the timeline looks like.
